Immunization of children below 5 years |
 An overall 4,913 babies were recipients of immunization services this reporting period leading to 491.3% achievement compared to the annual target of 1000 babies. Of 4,913 babies immunized, 50.7% (2493) were females aged 0-5 years and 49% (2420) were males in the same age group. This year the number of babies immunized reduced from 5,531 babies in 2009 to 4913 babies in 2010 (11.1% decrease) this was attributed to the few immunization campaigns conducted this year compared to the massive immunization campaigns held last year. |
